In 2006, BEN and ERIC’s comedic music video TWO DUDES MEGAMIX received over 500,000 YouTube views, catching the attention of advertising agency 72 & Sunny. BEN and ERIC were immediately hired to write, direct and star in a 10-spot campaign to launch Mobizzo, the mobile content service of Fox Entertainment (now known as Jamster). BEN and ERIC’s music video TRAPPED IN A ROCKET was granted Immortal status for receiving positive ratings and over 100,000 views on Will Ferrell’s FunnyOrDie.com, and Producer Chris Henchy selected BEN and ERIC’s CASINO ROYALE: UNPLUGGED his Pick of the Week writing, “Really well done. Funny and I like the torture stuff.”
In 2007, BEN and ERIC’s music video RIVERDANCE RAP racked up over 1.6 million views on YouTube and was featured on the YouTube homepage. RIVERDANCE RAP got attention from MTV, the original RIVERDANCE, and radio shows internationally (huge in Ireland).
At the same time, PAUL BROGAN VIDO LOG #1 was featured on SportsIllustrated.com & MySpace racking up over 1 million views combined on YouTube & MySpace. BEN and ERIC soon signed the Paul Brogan character to a web-series deal with MySpace in production right now. When SEATTLE SONICS GUY #1 was featured on YouTube, it racked up over 50,000 views in no time. The success of these sports videos led to attention from many NBA teams, including the Seattle Sonics. BEN and ERIC were then hired by the MIAMI HEAT and PHOENIX SUNS to create web-content & In-Game Entertainment that is in production right now.
BEN also directed the drama: MY NAME IS LISA, which won BEST SHORT FILM OF 2007 on YouTube and has received over 2 million views so far.
